SLC COMMERCIAL NOTCHES 5TH CCIM DESIGNEE
(Vero Beach, Florida) Most commercial real estate companies are lucky to have one CCIM Designee (Certified Commercial Investment Member). SLC Commercial Realty & Development now has their 5th. The most recent designee is Terry T. Torres, CCIM, Broker of SLC’s Vero Beach office. Torres is a veteran broker, and has been a principal in the Vero office since 2003. He recently earned the prestigious CCIM designation at the CCIM Institute’s Fall Conference, held in October in Orlando, FL. The designation is often referred to as “the PhD of commercial real estate”.
The CCIM designation is recognized as the premier designation in the industry, and held by less than 1% of active licensed realtors nationwide. CCIM candidates must complete a challenging multi-course curriculum in financial, investment, & market analysis of commercial real estate, as well as submit a comprehensive portfolio of closed real estate transactions.
